A knitter who blogs – the novelty!
Will someone please just call my idiot boss and tell how it’s impossible for me to muster up a once an hour all station stopping service to a hub station to catch another once an hour service to see whether I may or may not be able to catch my OTHER service into work? Because she’s decided this should be counted as a holiday.

When last week the weather report said “snow will be coming next week” and I happened to mention “I hope 3in fall so my trains are not running” I didn’t expect this.

I have to send an email to my mum. Coming from Valencia, the land where it rarely rains and snow is a myth on par with unicorns and boys who actually act like the guy from Sixteen Candles or Say Anything, she will ask me to go out with a tupperware and capture some of this for her to see next time she visits.
On my plans this morning, apart from not changing into anything other than pjs and sipping peppermint tea, I am spinning up the 3rd single of Oceanwinds Merino, and as you can see, I eventually finished the fingers of one glove, and cast on for the second one:
